Who we are
PixelSteals is a free game-deals newsletter and website run from the UK. Contact: lemondogs@yahoo.co.uk.
What we collect
If you subscribe, we store your email address, the date you subscribed and confirmed, and basic delivery data (opens/bounces) from our email provider. The website itself sets no tracking cookies, but our advertising partner Google does (see below).
Lawful basis (UK GDPR)
Consent. We use double opt-in: we only email you after you click the confirmation link. You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.
Processors
Emails are sent via Resend (email delivery). The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log IP addresses for security. Deal data comes from CheapShark and the Epic Games Store; clicking a deal takes you to their sites, which have their own policies.
Advertising and cookies (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to show ads on this website. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings (or www.aboutads.info). Learn more about how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Consent: visitors in the UK, EEA and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent message before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used, as required by UK GDPR and PECR. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the privacy/cookie settings link shown by that message. If you decline, Google may still show non-personalised or limited ads, which use cookies only for purposes such as frequency capping, fraud prevention and aggregated reporting.
Retention
We keep your email while you're subscribed and delete it within 30 days of unsubscribing.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, and complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
